  • Location-the exact spot you need to find.

  • Place-physical features,such as climate, landforms and bodies of water, and plant and animal life. Places can also have human characteristics, or features that human beings have craated, such as cities and towns, governments, and cultural traditions.

  • Region-a group of physical features or human characteristics, or both in common.

  • Movement-when people, goods, and ideas move from one place to another.

  • Human-Environment Interaction-occures because humans depend on, adapt to, and modify the world aroud them.


Region-Regions in Oceania are Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia. Region is important if the land had good resources, they would settle there.
